At Ingliston Country Club and Hotel we have made it our mission to run our business as ethically and environmentally conscious as possible, and we have taken steps to ensure our footprint on the planet is reduced, We have the largest single footprint of Solar Panels in Scotland generating 70% of the electrical energy we use each day, We also have 3 polytunnels which are each 30 meters long, where we grow all the flowers and plants throughout the estate. We also grow many of our Herbs and Vegetables used in our award winning Palomino’s restaurant.
We are very excited that Glasgow will host the 26th UN Climate Change Summit (COP26) this year at the SECC Centre from the 31st of October to the 12th of November.
The purpose of the summit is to bring the parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Progressing negotiations will be at the heart of the summit discussing how science, balance of mitigation, adaption and finance will play a part in this important cause.
Located just 17 miles from the SECC Centre, Ingliston Hotel and Country Club welcomes delegates attending the conference to stay in our 30 bedroom boutique Hotel and 13 Lodges.
